There is noting more beautiful than the human being's emotion expressed in a song. This is why we cry when hear some songs, and why we wish those songs were sung for us at the first place. I know almost every girl wants to be Delilah...no? I am sure you have your song then...

Hey There Delilah
Story: A guy meets a girl who happens to be a runner, and asks her out, she was already in a relationship so she turned him down. He made up a song to express how much he loved her. Watch the Olympic Games this summer, you might see Delilah DiCrescenzo running in the 800-meter competitions. A love song not inspired by a love story.
How to Save a Life
Story: This young man was working as a mentor for troubled teenagers. One of them had a behavioral problem that could not be solved by his family members and therapists. This inspired the young man from the Fray to come up with "How To Save a Life"
My take: this might be a really popular song, but even if it was not, every time I hear it I could not help it but choke thinking about all the injusticed kids, all the hungry kids, and all those abused kids from every society sector and every color. The song tickles my mind, and remind me that I can not too just turn my face and pretend it does not exist. Not even for a moment.
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came......

thanks for the reference !
no problem dr. hareega
I actually turned to your blog for some humor, did not expect this at all...
I never actually listened to that song, but there is a troubled teenager that used to spend every lunch with this teacher across the hall from me and he would always put that song on while he was in there because it soothed him. I tried not to let it drive me nuts, hearing the same some EVERY day since we do what we can for kids like him. Sadly, he got into serious trouble and doesn't go there anymore, so I don't hear the song anymore.
